Salisbury's New Pro-Air, Air Flow Hood system integrated with Salisbury's 8 Cal/Cm2 Protective Hood.
This newest addition to the Pro-Air line of products provides additional air flow and cools the worker. These compact, easy to use units are excellent in warm conditions and confined spaces. The system is designed to provide the wearer with approx. 80 cfm of Air Flow throught the breathing zone inside the hood.
The Pro Hood itself is made of Arc Flash Resistant Indura Ultra Soft and comes with an arc rated 10" x 20" Anti-fogging lense. The Cooling system is located on the back of the hood and measures 7" wide by 14" long. The base of the unit is made of treated Heavy Bark Leather (Black) with hook and pile trim around the edges. The fan measures 4.5 " x 4.5" and the reinforced "dome" for the air intake fan is also covered in Arc Flash Resistant Indura Ultra Soft, offering additional protection to the wearer. The battery pack is housed in an Indura Ultra Soft Pocket and is powered by 8 AA batteries that will power the unit for up to 35 hrs of continuous use at 80 cfm.
